INTERNAL MAKE-UP VS EXTERNAL PROJECTION( SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY)

Hi everyone! I am here again with my another blog and this is the continuation of my previous blog. So in the previous session we discussed about our cultural diversity and society norms, here we are to discuss something which is very much important in todays life. Can you guess what it could be about which is so very important for us? Okay, let me tell you all it was about AWARENESS. Do you guys literally know that what does it mean? It means having knowledge or perception of a situation or a fact, also you can say, well informed about a particular situation. So this session was to make us awareness about INTERNAL MAKE-UP VS EXTERNAL PROJECTION. It was so informative and necessary as  it reflected on the point that each one of us are so different from each other which makes us stand as an individual unique in the crowd. So lets just dig into the topic more briefly and get ourselves more clear.

So as we all know that in todays generation looking perfect from outside is much more needed than to be perfect from inside, it has changed all of our mindsets. The most impactful platform which influenced us is SOCIAL MEDIAS nowadays. It is not about how a person is feeling but it has always been about how a person looks or how he or she dresses up, how great their standards are or how rich or poor they are. These are the reasons why depression, anxiety, panic attacks like words have come to  existence. While going out from our houses we always focus on how good we are looking today, but have you ever asked yourselves that whether you are happy or not, whether you are feeling amazing about yourself or whether you are being yourself or just getting influenced by others?

People are different and so are their body type, skin colour, weight, height, etc. Unlike ALL THE FINGERS,  NOT ALL HUMAN BEING ARE THE SAME. If we ask someone to describe a person or say a "perfect person", the characteristics which comes to our mind instantly would be all related to outer appearance first. Rather than focusing on the persons inner beauty, we always focus on their flaws or looks or appearance. Sometimes we also insult people or make fun of their individuality despite of thinking about how the person will feel about it.

According to our society a man cannot express their feelings and they cannot cry and if it does happen then the society starts questioning about their manhood. Do you all think that it is fair? Does men don't have right to express themselves? Like wise women are taught to be less talkative and polite and should never have the habit of questioning. Also if they cry it is considered as normal or drama as people say "inko roone ke alawa aur kuch to ata hi nahi hai" and if they start to question then they all be like "inke par nikal gye hai". So in both the cases the deciding ones are who? Of course the SOCIETY and who are the society? It's we! It's we who decide how a particular person or gender should behave or should express themselves. So this is where we can be the change or make the difference. Instead of making the norms about certain things we should help people to be themselves.

Also BODY SHAMMING is something which is very common nowadays. Not only female but every individual is body shammed. And what is the reason behind it, can you guess? Of course it's the "deciding ones" or the other name is SOCIETY. Instead of encouraging someone about being themselves, we just demoralize them and give them instructions about how to be perfect. I know you all would be thinking that its too easy to write such things but in reality its difficult to accept your flaws and flaunt it. But its very much important for us to understand that putting on makeup, wearing  nice clothes, speaking fluent english is not all that we need. We need to accept ourselves as we are, accept our flaws, stop trying to copy others to look sexy. Everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way so just be a free bird and explore your self rather than being caged into everyone's mindset.

P.S. ALL THE PHOTOS ARE TAKEN FROM GOOGLE.
